Module 5: Defining Purpose

The most powerful driving force for engagement is the energy derived from connecting to deeply held values and beliefs. Connecting to purpose fuels engagement by prompting our desire to invest focused energy in something we really care about. Facing the truth establishes where we are now, and defining purpose establishes where we would like to be. The central issue in this training segment is as follows: To complete your mission, who and what should be getting your full engagement? Values and beliefs drive the energy from which engagement is built. It is therefore imperative that a link be made between the core values of each employee and those of the organization they represent. Participants will define their vision of full engagement in the context of work and establish new rules of engagement.
